I am a big fan of sageuk drama and The Princess' Man didn't catch my attention firstly because of its Romeo and Juliet storyline. To be honest I don't like following any drama which has a sad ending. And if The Princess' Man is following Romeo and Juliet storyline, then two lead characters will die. I don't want to fall in love with these two characters but in the end have to bid my sad farewell when they die.
Initially I thought that this drama will solely following the journey Kim Seung Yu and Lee Se Ryeong harsh and sad love story as both of them who fall in love with each other didn't know that their fathers are enemies.
But after watching the first episode, I realized that the first part (episode 1 - 8) of The Princess' Man will follow story of Kim Seung Yu's father, Grand Prince Su Yang in his obsession to ascend to the throne. And the second part of this drama focuses on Lee Se Ryeong's bitterness towards his father & family; in which she has to choose between her love who has to witness his father killed by Grand Prince Su Yang's people and her family.
I decided to create this blog for writing The Princess' Man recaps. English is not my first language so I will try my best to depicts the important scenes from each episode and write them here.
